Hitachi Unitorque Turntable Motor

The Unitorque Turntable Motor technology is employed by the Hitachi Corporation for their record players. This technology consists of a non-commutator DC servo motor with 200-pole rotary magnet and flat square twin coils. It brings a 40 % improvement over conventional motor designs achieving wow-and-flutter figures of only 0.025 %.
